STEAM: ArduBot Robot Creation with Arduino and TETRIX
Build a robot with aluminum and plastic TETRIX PRIME parts, and program its Arduino brain to play a one-on-one basketball game. Use CAD to design the launcher components, and then laser-cut and 3D-print these custom parts. Design a mold and make a body for your robot using the vacuum former.
Students keep the Tetrix Prime Robot, Arduino, Remote control, and receive SBU clearance for the lasers and 3D Printers.
This 5-day camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Students are responsible for bringing their lunch. After-camp time (Extended Maker Sessions) also available. Parents are invited for a Robotics Showcase on Friday afternoon from 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Please call TechShop St. Louis (314-797-5646) for more information.

STEAM401: Basic Electronics Summer Camp
Students are immersed in a creative environment that covers science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, and across every subject, they learn how to approach life as problem solvers.
Dive into the blinking, beeping, programmable world of electronics! After an introductory primer that lays the groundwork for electricity, circuits, soldering, and using multimeters via mini-project builds, you'll explore circuit design, learn about microcontrollers, and get started with the Arduino. You will also learn to work with the laser cutters and desktop CNC mill. The large project build is a fun and flashy LED cube.
This Basic Electronics class is a foundational class that gives young innovators the tools to excel in more advanced electronics courses.
This 5-day camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Students are responsible for bringing their lunch. After-camp time (Extended Maker Sessions) also available.
Please call TechShop St. Louis (314-797-5646) for more information.

STEAM402: Design and Build Summer Camp
Participants are immersed in a creative environment that covers science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Across every subject, you'll learn how to approach life as problem solvers.
After learning how to use digital design software to create your own custom personal logo, you'll bring it to life in a variety of materials using laser cutters, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and standard shop tools. At the end of the session, you will have a solid understanding of how to go from idea to design to creation, plus you will be certified to use all the aforementioned tools at TechShop.
Design and Build is a foundational course that gives young innovators safety clearance for the tools we use in our STEAM program and prepares them for the next course.
This 5-day camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Students are responsible for bringing their lunch. After-camp time (Extended Maker Sessions) also available.
Please call TechShop St. Louis (314-797-5646) for more information.
