| TechShop is hiring!
We are looking for talented people with teaching experience to join our pool of instructors. Our instructors are passionate about making, building and teaching. TechShop is more than a building full of amazing tools; it's a community of makers, builders, tinkerers, inventors and interesting people. Our instructors are the way our members learn not only machine skills, but also safety, etiquette and responsibility.
Instructor positions are part time and hours are usually evenings and weekends; there are no full time positions. Before applying, take a look at our class calendar and see if it fits your schedule. We have developed class materials for you to teach from, but there are also opportunities to create and teach your own classes. |

| REQUIREMENTS |
|
| Teaching Responsibilities:
Start and end class on time
Teach class content, as directed
Teach and demonstrate TechShop safety rules, policies and etiquette
Inspire and encourage TechShop members
Promote TechShop special offers at the end of class
Management Responsibilities
Manage class paperwork
Evaluate student performance (pass/fail)
Inform TechShop Facilities if class materials are running low
Desired Skills
Industry experience in instructional area
Teaching experience
Reliability
Ability to work well with others and accommodate changing demands in a busy shop environment
Excellent customer service
