| |  The core of our business philosophy at TechShop is to enable and empower all Makers with the tools and knowledge you need to make your dreams reality. Before you have your "Look what I Made" moment, you've got to start somewhere. We want to help! Come down to the "TechShop Project Kickoff and BBQ" on Saturday, October 4th. A panel of expert makers (including Jim our founder and several of our Instructors) will be available to field your questions, offer advice, and help get you moving in the direction of success.
This event is open to the public, so you needn't be a member to attend. (Of course, we hope you'll take advantage of the Free October promotion. As a member you'll be able to use this great advice right away). Please feel free to bring your friends and family, or anyone you know who is interested in making. There's no charge to attend, but please bring your project ideas and thinking cap.
The event runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with panel Q&A sessions at 11:30am and 2:00pm, BBQ between noon and 2:00pm, and ample opportunity for networking and brainstorming all day.

From the Peninsula
From Highway 101, take the Marsh Road exit towards the bay, turn right on Independence Drive. We are on the right just past the vacant dirt lot.
From the East Bay (Dumbarton Bridge)
Turn left on Chrysler Drive, then right on Independence Drive.
