WKS005: MiTi: Japanese Tool Box
Class Number 933-35428

Make your own wooden box inspired by Japanese master carpenter Toshihiro Odate. You will assemble the box using pre-cut pine wood parts and nails. You can use some of TechShop's hand tools to complete your project in our Flex Space work area. The complete box has a clever lid that closes tightly shut and opens when you slide it. This is a great intro to our larger Japanese Tool Chest Workshop in which you use our wood shop to make a larger-sized box), and a good way to start working with wood at TechShop!

Each participant will walk away with his/her own Japanese tool box. This is not a Safety and Basic Usage class. This workshop is open to both members and non-members.
