The e-Health Sensor Shield allows Arduino and Raspberry Pi users to develop biometric and medical applications where body monitoring is needed!
You will learn how to incorporate and utilize nine human health sensors: pulse, oxygen in blood (SPO2), airflow (breathing), body temperature, electrocardiogram (ECG), glucometer, galvanic skin response (GSR - sweating), blood pressure (sphygmomanometer) and patient position (accelerometer).
In this workshop, you will learn how to use this platform for proof of concept applications and as the basis of a new era of open source medical products. You will use non-invasive sensors to monitor workshop participants and will learn how to read the data in the PC to share it in the cloud.
This sensor platform has been featured in Wired.com as one of ten mind-blowing, skill-building Raspberry Pi projects.
Please bring the following equipment: an Arduino UNO, a Raspberry Pi, and a laptop with latest Arduino IDE.
