TechShop Pittsburgh is having a party to celebrate Nikola Tesla's 157th birthday!

Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. Tesla lived and worked in Pittsburgh in 1888 for George Westinghouse developing motors that worked with AC.

Electronics instructor Mark Barlow will be leading a presentation on Tesla and will be demonstrating some of his projects, including some homemade Tesla coils!
