WKS601: Rubber Band-Powered Car

Wind 'er up and let 'er go!
In this workshop, you'll build a toy car that gets its zip from a simple rubber band. Participants can customize their cars with laser-etched graphics as well as stickers and markers.
This car is fun to make, fun to decorate and fun to race - perfect for all ages! Registration includes one car kit for each two-person team. No prior experience or SBU classes required!
Team price: $25. Two participants per team. Team leader: Please register here or via phone, then email education.dt@techshop.ws with team members' names.
Please note: This workshop utilizes TechShop’s equipment but all shop rules still apply – unless you have already passed the required safety course(s), your instructor will assist you with your printing. This is not a Safety and Basic Use (SBU) class – you may NOT use TechShop's equipment without passing the associated Safety and Basic Use class.
Students ages 8 and up may attend ONLY if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian MUST sign up for the workshop as well.
