WLD202: MIG Welding 2 - Make Better Welds

After completing the MIG Welding safety and basic use (SBU) class, you can practice specific joints and improve weld bead quality under guidance of an instructor.
In this class, many different joints and out-of-position welding will be discussed, and emphasis will be placed on visual inspection of welds and heat zone theory, so that you gain a better understanding of what a quality weld joint really looks like. Participants will perform at their own rates.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of MIG Welding SBU prior to taking this class.
Safety: Long pants and a long-sleeved shirt in natural fibers are required clothing in the Hot Shop. Aways wear closed-toed shoes at TechShop.
