This is an introductory build, but some soldering experience is required. In this class, you will build a small handheld synthesizer. We'll discuss application of the instrument in music and installation work, look at alternative iterations of the device and experiment with a number of light sources in class.

You will leave class with a hand-held synth with two different square wave output buttons and two oscillator potentiometers. It is 100% light dependent and REALLY FUN to play with!

Prerequisite: You must have taken Soldering and Electronics Basics: EEE 100 prior to taking this class.
