Scratch-Off Card Workshop
Thursday, 3/29/2012
6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
TechShop San Francisco

Ever wanted to know how to register multiple layers using the Adobe Illustrator? Make your own lottery tickets? Get a little more experience screen printing with an experienced printer on hand to answer your questions? Then this is the class for you!

We'll mix up our own special scratch-off ink to screen print with, discuss how to lay out files in Illustrator so that each step aligns properly to the next, and register your cards so that the ink lands exactly where you want it to. At the end you'll walk away with a dozen scratch-off cards, a clear understanding of how to lay out your files, and plenty of ideas on how to make your own unique scratch-off lottery tickets, cards or other paper products.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop utilizes TechShop’s equipment but all shop rules still apply – if you haven’t passed our required safety course, your instructor will assist you with your printing. This is not an SBU workshop – you may NOT use Techshop's equipment without passing the associated Safety and Basic Use class.

Students under 18 years old MAY attend this class without a parent or guardian. Minimum age restriction of 12 years old still applies.

Workshop Length: 2 Hours
Workshop Cost: $40 including materials fee
