Special Events Bringing People Together at TechShop
TechShop is the ideal place to build almost anything you can imagine. It is also the perfect location for your next group gathering. We take care of the space, entertainment and more. See below for some of our most popular events and call to schedule your next fun Corporate Team Building Offsite, Birthday Party, Bachelor or Bachelorette Party, Scouting Group, College Class, or just a great time out. No experience with any of the equipment is necessary, our trained and knowledgeable staff will be with you onsite throughout your party.
Email events@techshop.ws or call (800) 640-1975 and talk to the Events Coordinator to get pricing for your event of 6 or more people. We can also arrange for Catering - including cakes, hors D'oeuvres, snacks, lunch or dinner! We can even plan for an event photo album!
Please allow at least two weeks of lead time to arrange an event.
Lasers & Vinyl: Two of our most popular machines in one event! Come create some fun, personalized vinyl decals for your home or office; and play with lasers! You can etch your own artwork or text onto wood, plastic, cloth or even a lemon! The possibilities are endless in this fun event.
Silk Screening T-Shirts: One of our most popular events. Bring your group in to create your one-of-a kind single-colored silk screened t-shirts.
Chocolate Molding: Create a fun and tasty event by using two of our favorite machines: The CNC ShopBot cuts your 3D artwork; the Vacuum Former makes a food-safe mold - and then you get to make a tasty chocolate treat! Molds can be reused and are great for company logos.
SumoRobot Building & Competition: You're going to love building and programming your very own fighting SumoRobot. Then compete against your friends or co-workers on TechShop's own SumoRobot competition ring for great prizes!
Plasma Cutting & Welding: Use TechShop's CNC Plasma Cutter to create unique art or signage - great for your company's logo! Our skilled welding instructor will teach you the basics of MIG welding after the plasma cut.
Lasers & Beer: Etch your company logo or commemorate a 21st, 51st or 91st birthday to personalize a pint glass that you each get to keep. Then enjoy some local Devil's Canyon brew after the work is done.
Chocolate & Wine: Etch your own company logo or commemorate an event on a wine glass or chocolate bar and then enjoy some wine and chocolate after the work is done! Each attendee gets to keep the glass.
Soldering for Kids: Introduce kids to basic electronics by soldering paperclip people the kids get to take home. Great educational fun for birthday parties or kid's groups!
Blinky Bugs: Kids get to build a simple, little electro-mechanical insect that responds to movement, wind, and vibrations by blinking their LED eyes. A fun and educational event for younger children!
TechShop Machine Demos: Let TechShop show your group some of our favorite machines in action - laser cutters, CNC machines, plasma cutter, vacuum formers, injection molder. Great for field trips for kids, college students and adults alike!
